Certificates of Attendance &
​Continuing Education Information for “Focus” Talks
 
Certificates of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance are available for all “Focus” Talks that have been attended in their entirety. To obtain a certificate, please send the following to [email protected]:
  • Your name as you would like it to be printed on the Certificate of Attendance
  • Complete title of the “Focus” Talk attended
  • Date (month, day and year) the “Focus” Talk was virtually attended
  • Exact start time and end time (hour and minute for each) that you attended the virtual session as noted on the device used to attend the session.
  • Email address used to Register for the “Focus” Talk
After we receive your request, we’ll be sure to reach back to you with any questions and/or the Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to you. Please allow up to ten business days to receive your Certificate of Attendance.
 
Continuing Education Information
Please see current details below by organization.  At this time continuing education credits are available only from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals (ACVREP) for “Focus” Talks.  Additional updates and attendee requirements will be posted when available.

Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals (ACVREP)
Free continuing education (CE) credits are available from ACVREP for some “Focus” Talks on-demand webcasts.  CE credits are available as follows:  1 CE credit will be awarded for sessions with run time of 60 minutes or more.

​Requirements for ACVREP Credits
  • Registration:  Register for the “Focus” Talk that indicates CE are available from ACVREP.
  • Attendance:
    • The "Focus" Talk must be watched in one continuous session. 
    • Carefully note the exact start time and end time (hour and minutes for each) that you attended the virtual session as noted on the device used to attend the session. The exact start time and end time and your email address are used to verify the minutes of your virtual attendance.
    • Virtually attend the “Focus” Talk in its entirety. 
  • Quiz: Request and successfully pass the post webcast quiz as described below.

​Steps to Obtain an ACVREP CE Certificate
  1. After attending, please send ALL of the following information to [email protected] :
    1. Your name as you would like it to be printed on the ACVREP CE Certificate.
    2. Full name of Presenter and Complete Title of the “Focus” Talk for which you wish to obtain CE credits.
    3. Date (month, day and year) you virtually attended the “Focus” Talk.
    4. Exact start time and end time (hour and minute for each) that you attended the virtual session as noted on the device used to attend the session.
    5. Email address you used to Register for the “Focus” Talk.
  2. If we have any questions, we will follow up with you.
  3. A quiz will be emailed to the address you have provided. 
  4. Please complete the quiz in its entirety and email back to [email protected]
  5. Upon passing of the quiz with a score of 80% or better and verification that you have watched the entire training, CE credits will be awarded via a certificate that will be emailed to you.  Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
